Heatwave
The movie was great but at the same time it was sad. It showed how colored people were always abused because of their race and were always seen as less. They were already tired of everything that was going on and there was a moment they got tired of this situation that they decided to riot and stop this situation that was going on. Journalist Bob Richardson was always told to say the truth, "not the black men's truth, not the white men's truth, but the truth" That is exactly what he did, he was able to get in where all the chaos was happening and was able to get valuable information. Something I learned is that no matter what is going on, a journalist should always be neutral in a situation. I also learned that as a journalist, some people might be risking their lives in some situations. Finally something else I learned is that you have to be persistent if you want something to be done your way.

If you click this link, it will take you to a website in which you will find news that have no point on here. It is funny how they are proud of what they do after one patient died of Ebola and two of their own were infected with the virus.

A question for schools: Which sports teams should transgender students play on?
After taking a look at various articles, I came across this one and it caught my attention. There are many student athletes that have a different sexual preference. However, there are times in which they might feel discriminated by their others teammates. The question is, in which sports should they be allowed to play on? Pretty much all the sports in college require the athlete to maybe shower or be around with little cloth on around their teammates, but how would this work with transgender students. Will parents agree with all of this going on and how would they react? There are times in which you need to understand that we are all the same and even if they are in the team and think different, they should not be denied a spot in the team. That is why I agree they should all be allowed to play in all of the sports available because it shows how we are all as society equal to one another.

Sports staff for life :)
The sports staff is the best because we get to show the rest of the school all the fun stuff that happen in school. For example, we are all into sports and this helps us see any sport in a different perspective than everyone else. This helps us make important judgements when it comes to deciding which sporting news to put up. We promise to make the sports section fun and entertaining for everyone.

How many high school athletes get to compete at college level
There are many high school athletes who their biggest dream is to be able to play their sport in college and later maybe even achieve a professional level. Every athlete's dream is to be able to play in the NCAA, the most prestigious division in college sports. For example, my dream is to reach the top in soccer, but first I want to play at an university that could get me ready for that level. According to the website College Sports Scholarships, in high school there are about 358,935 soccer players. Out of those player only 19,797 get to play soccer in the NCAA. From this group only 75 are drafted to play professional soccer. That is why is very hard to get to play at a high level, but you need to take advantage of all the opportunities out there.

soccer fans supply strong voice in scottish independence
This was a very interested article in my opinion even though it has nothing to do with the US. Many people know that soccer is a very important and famous sport around the world and the Scottish people are using it to get their voices heard. I agree with this because this way other people notice them and think maybe it is for the best to get their independence from Britain. This is a perfect way to get their ideas out and by using soccer in a very important game, it maybe is the best thing to do. This is the link to give your own opinion about this situation. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/09/12/sports/soccer/Celtic-rangers-soccer-fans-supply-strong-voice-in-scottish-independence-debate.html?ref=soccer&_r=0

My Review of All Presidents Men
After carefully watching and analyzing the film, "All Presidents Men", I learned many things that will help me become a better journalist. For example, whenever you are going to get information from someone, you have to be polite and introduce yourself to that person, once that's done, you go on and write all the information you could get. Not just that, but when you need information and there is nobody to tell you what to do, you decide what is the best thing to do and you go for it and do it. You also have to be persistent when trying to get information, you might not get the information right away, but if you keep trying and ask different people questions, at the end, you'll successfully achieve your goal. So it does not matter what is going on around, but if you keep pushing yourself, then great things will come to you.
